Sts. Peter and Paul School has implemented a Middle School Program in which students in grades 6 through 8 are taught by a cadre of teachers who have an appreciation, understanding, and knowledge of the challenges and needs of the age level. Regular formal and informal meetings of the staff allow for the sharing of ideas and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

Weekly Advisory sessions are conducted in which middle school students learn effective study habits, how to develop personal goals, how to prepare for high school and how to research career possibilities.  Additionally, there is a focus on appropriate social behavior and on building positive relations with teachers, parents and peers.

Courses include the following:

Science:

Earth Science:  Grade 6
Life Science: Grade 7
Physical Science: Grade 8

Math:

6 and 7th Grade Math
8th Grade Honors: Algebra 1
8th Grade:  Pre-Algebra

Social Studies, Language Arts, Religion, Computer Technology, and PE are taught in 6,7,and 8th grades.

Students participate in a Promotional Exercise on graduation from 8th grade to high school.
